Looking for a creative, memorable way to gather? Our private workshops are designed to give you and your group a cozy, hands on experience that feels both special and personal. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, hosting a girls night, or planning a team outing, we will work with you to create something truly unique.

A Creative Experience, Designed for You

You can choose from any of our regularly offered projects like sun catchers, miniature book nooks, potion making, crown making, or woodworking, or we can collaborate to design something custom just for your group.

We will guide you through the entire process to make sure your project fits your vision, timeline, and budget.

 

Pricing and Details

Private party rate is $400 to $450
We can seat up to 8 guests as our space is intentionally small and intimate
Duration is about 2 to 2.5 hours
Project pricing typically aligns with our standard class rate of $45 to $50 per person

Custom or more detailed projects may include additional costs and we will go over all of that with you during planning.

Group Size and Pricing

Private parties are priced at a flat rate and include up to 8 guests, which is the maximum capacity of our space.

You are welcome to bring a smaller group, however the full private party rate still applies to reserve the space and experience.

This allows us to provide a fully private and customized workshop no matter the group size.

 

What’s Included ✨

When you book a private party, you are getting more than just a class, you are getting a full experience.

You will have exclusive use of our studio space for your group in a private and intimate setting with seating for up to 8 guests.

You will also have private shopping time to explore the store without the usual crowd.

Each guest will receive 10 percent off all Moon and Moth Mercantile handmade items, excluding consigned or vendor items.

Each guest will also receive 5 dollars off a future class with Erica.

The host will receive a 10 dollar shop credit as a thank you for booking.

Most importantly, you will have a relaxed and welcoming environment to create, connect, and unwind.

 

Flexible Scheduling

Private parties can be booked any day of the week, which gives you more flexibility to plan around your schedule.

Since the shop is typically closed Friday through Sunday, your group also gets the added bonus of a quieter and more private experience during those times.

Make It Your Own

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

You can choose your project style and overall vibe for your event.

If you are looking for something more elevated, we can also create custom or more advanced projects.

 

Booking, Payment and Policies

To reserve your private party date, we require a 50 percent non refundable deposit at the time of booking. This secures your date and allows us to begin preparing materials specifically for your group.

The remaining balance is due the day of your event and can be paid in store by cash or credit card.

Because each workshop is prepared in advance and materials are purchased and created specifically for your party, deposits are non refundable and we do not offer refunds for cancellations.

We ask that you book with the intention of attending, as a lot of time and preparation goes into each private event.

 

Workshop Experience and Expectations

Your private party includes 2 hours of guided, hands on instruction where each guest will create their own project with support and guidance throughout the process.

Additional time, up to 2.5 hours total, can be used for relaxing, socializing, and shopping.

To make sure everyone has a great experience, all guests should be willing and able to participate in creating their own project. Instruction and assistance are always provided, but projects are not completed for guests.

Our workshops are designed to be fun, creative, and engaging. No experience is needed, just a willingness to jump in and try.
